Checko aims at approaching every action with a purpose. We believe in asking "Why?" before we say "Yes," inspiring thoughtful decisions. And so, when it came to building a brand in the wellness space, we didn’t ask, “What’s trending?” We asked, “What’s unaddressed?” It was simple. It was staring right at us - FACE CARE. It always has been there. But unattended, unaddressed and unseen.
We set out to answer a question that had been quietly following us for years: Why has taking care of our skin become so complicated? And we built a face care brand to answer that!

Face Care vs Skincare
You’ve probably heard these terms, face care and skincare, used interchangeably. They often are. But we believe there’s a subtle difference. And it matters. Skincare has become an endless aisle of products, promises, and possibilities. Everything falls under its umbrella, from head to toe, scrubs to patches, gua sha, pimple patches, jade rollers, sheet masks, red-light masks, etc. It's undoubtedly beautiful. But sometimes overwhelming and saturated.
Face care, though, feels closer and a little personal. Your face isn’t just another part of you, it’s you! When you hear someone’s name, it’s their face you recall first! It’s the crinkle around their eyes, the curve of their smile, the way their face lights up or softens. Our faces hold stories that we tell, and the ones we don’t.
That’s why we chose to start here. At the face. At the core of who we are. Because real care means respecting and nourishing the face thoughtfully.

At Checko, we are deeply attached to the idea that little is more.
In a world that constantly asks for more steps and trending ingredients, we gently (but stubbornly) hold our ground and say: Basics. Always. That’s why our launch lineup is simple:

Our deeper promise
At Checko, we made a promise to care beyond the mirror! Every product is vegan, cruelty-free, fragrance-free, and essential oil-free and most importantly, worry-free. Every formulation is dermatologically tested, consumer-tested, and made without harmful chemicals. Every step we took got us closer to being carbon neutral. Every decision is shaped by the belief that face care shouldn’t cost the Earth.
We know perfection doesn’t exist. But progress does. And progress, when done thoughtfully, is powerful.

Our “why”
We chose to begin with face care not just because it’s essential, but because it’s intimate.
Because faces actually don’t deserve to be filtered, airbrushed, or endlessly critiqued.
Facial skin is notably thinner and more susceptible to photoaging, largely due to continuous exposure to environmental factors such as ultraviolet (UV) radiation, pollution, and varying weather conditions. This delicate skin structure contributes to the formation of fine lines, wrinkles, and age spots more readily than other areas of the body. Moreover, the density of sebaceous glands in the facial region is significantly higher, producing natural oils that help maintain skin hydration and barrier function but can also lead to increased acne and oily skin in some individuals.
Furthermore, the facial muscles are in constant motion, expressing a wide range of emotions and contributing to facial dynamics. This high frequency of movement means that the facial muscles experience greater wear and tear compared to other muscle groups in the body, further contributing to the ageing process. The combination of these factors highlights the unique challenges faced by facial skin, necessitating tailored skincare and protective measures to maintain its health and appearance.
At Checko, we don’t believe in perfect skin. Perfection is a myth. We believe in skin that breathes easy & ages with grace. Skin that feels at home in its own story!
We weren't chasing a trend. We wanted to instill a feeling of getting back to the basics, choosing simplicity and sustainability over noise. We asked ourselves a simple question: Where does care begin? And again and again, the answer pointed us back to the face!
